$RUM Economy

$RUM is the lifeblood of Captain's Helm — a fixed-supply token that flows through every chest, blend, bottle, Treasure Hunt, and Black Market deal. It's earned, burned, and recycled through gameplay.

Earning $RUM

You earn $RUM primarily by staking Bottle NFTs via WaxDAO. Each bottle tier yields roughly 3× more $RUM than the tier below it:

  • Common: ~0.05 RUM / day
  • Uncommon: ~0.15 RUM / day
  • Rare: ~0.45 RUM / day
  • Epic: ~1.30 RUM / day
  • Legendary: ~3.90 RUM / day
  • Mythic: ~11.70 RUM / day

That 3× scaling keeps upgrades meaningful and rewards players who reinvest and blend instead of hoarding low tiers.

Redeeming & Farming

Beyond staking, $RUM can be redeemed directly from the Twitch stream via Waves loyalty, and may be available through occasional events, giveaways, and farm setups.

As the ecosystem grows, $RUM will also support LPs, farm boosts, and cross-project collaborations.

Burning $RUM

$RUM is constantly removed from circulation as players progress:

  • Blending higher-tier bottle NFTs.
  • Crafting Treasure Hunt and Gilded Treasure Hunt Passes.
  • Black Market blends and limited-time deals.
  • Fatebound Cache variants that require RUM.
  • Future mission and fleet-related sinks.

These sinks help maintain long-term value and keep the economy from inflating out of control.

Using $RUM

RUM is not just for burning — it's also spent on:

  • Discounted chest drops on NeftyBlocks.
  • Special blends and promotional events.
  • Treasure Hunt participation and upgrades.
  • Black Market rotations with high-impact rewards.

The goal is a healthy loop: earn RUM, use it to push deeper into the Helm, and help support the ecosystem when you burn it.

Supply & The Loop

$RUM has a fixed max supply of 10,000,000 tokens. It's carefully balanced against blend costs, farm emissions, and in-stream sinks.

The core loop looks like this: dig on Twitch for resources → blend bottles → stake bottles to earn RUM → burn RUM and items to climb higher tiers and enter events → repeat.

Many chase gold, but only the wise chase the bottle that brews it.
